Just an update...

Things have been busy lately and I'm just trying to keep up with all the days activities. The newest staff member is not catching on as quickly as normal but I'm hoping it will eventually catch on and have some stability in that satellite office. The PT staff in the main location has not called in sick or injured in two weeks and that seems like good news but even though she only works three days a week (one half day)... She is requesting a day off next week. Which brings me to my next week set of scheduling issues. The kids have Monday off for staff development day... What for there is only four weeks left of school? Then I'm going to work half a day due to a hair appt. Then it's Bunco night on Tuesday. Wednesday is the day she asked off... Thursday is Stamp club which I'm going to have to leave early since it's such a busy week and then.... Finally and day off from everything!!!
I do not know when my last day off was??? I mean while the kids are in school and my Husband is at work? Sometimes I'm so consumed with being busy I do not know what to do with my self with a day off... I think of great things to get accomplished but is it worthy of doing on one of my Only days to myself??? Any Seinfeld friends understand "Sponge worthy"???... I have a lot of Seinfeld references... I feel like he really touches on real life situations... My real life situations... Almost scary like... I'm really rambling today... I have not had much to say in quite a while and now I'm making up for it.

We are trying to plan our busy summer... Joe and I have sat down with the calendar and trying to fit in some due time off with the family but it's so hard to make every on happy... The older the kids get the more impute they give...
Lexi this year wants to go to Chicago on her own, to visit a childhood friend... Joe has serious doubt on letting her fly alone... Lexi and I are a lot alike... Very independent and not afraid to take on challenges and adventure. She and her Friend Allie have decided one should fly to AZ and then the other should fly home to Chicago together... So each girl has a week away but two weeks together... I'm worried that is a lot of time together for two girls who have not spent that much time together... We'll see.
Then that brings me to the part Joe wants... He wants to go to Italy again this summer but for only 10 days instead of two weeks. He wants to see this bike race and we were going to take the kids but the timing is all off. It's during the last week of school and it's really not fair to the kids to miss that. I think we'll go with out them which I think they are ok with... We'll make it up to them this summer.
Then he wants to do a big family trip...Besides the annual vacation to California... We always go to Coronado for the 4th of July... The girls dance recital is the 1st of July which messes up the sat - sat bookings but we'll make due and leave on Sunday instead. But he also wants to see his father this summer and spend some time in Chicago too... I told him to fly with Lexi on one of her one way trips... We'll see.
Then that comes to me... I want to go to New York and see my friend who recently was diagnosed with RA. I'm very worried about her and it's been a while since I've been back to NY. I want to take the whole family with me and Dominic really wants to go because he has never been to my home, where I grew up. I have taken the girls back a few time when they were young to visit Lisa and my other friend Lori in Delaware, but he always stayed home with Dad... It was his energy level... Too much for a six hour plane ride. Plus the girls were easier to travel with. I took Gabi twice since she was not missing any school... She was younger. Joe has not been back to NY since before we were married... 14 years ago. NY is so much fun... 3 days in the city and 2-3 days on the Island... that is were I was born. I really want to go in August for my birthday but the kids go back to school on the 10th Of August... It does not leave much time to get ready for School...
Oh yea...Back to the big family trip... Gabi wants to go to "Disneyland"... But we are going next year to DisneyWorld next spring for Joe's seminar... She says it's not the same and wants to go to California not to Florida since she's been there already... Funny where do they get that from...
Oh well we need to make a decision soon... And invest in some plane tickets... I should work for the airlines then I could save money on the fairs... hahaha another job with all my spare time...
I cannot believe it almost May... Wow where does the time go????? Scary......

Congrats to Dominic's hockey team at the Ice Den. This is his second Major championship win!!! His team played hard and won for the squirt league.

We went to the last home game for the Phoenix Coyotes and watched them win a 3-0 shut out against the LA Kings. It was a great game. We had awesome seats in the Lexus Club, and the kids really had fun. It was fan appreciation day and they were giving everything away!!! Someone one a truck... They gave the shirts right off their backs off to the lucky fans that won a team number. Lexi got a t-shirt and Dominic got a puck and many signatures on his stick. Fun family night.

I hope everyone has an excellent Easter and enjoys the time with friends and family... That is what life is all about.
