Happy Birthday to ME!!!!

Joe surprised me with a trip to the BIG City... The place it all started!

I was born in NY City hospital on August 17th 1967... Yes that is right 40.... Years ago. was having a difficult birthday this year for some strange reason I felt old... and not in the place I wanted to be.... Now don't get me wrong I'm very blessed... with my health, family, husband, friends (you) Home, .... I could go on for days... But I had this hope or idea that I would feel differently or look differently... But Joe really took all that nonsense away and cleared my head and treated me more special this weekend than he or anyone has ever done.... It was all about me. Now you know I have been a Mom for over 13 years and a wife for almost 15 years (Sept. 26th)... So I've had moments of me time but this was amazing.... I know this sounds a little selfish but can I tell you how much I enjoyed it and no guilt.... none.

Joe got me reservations at Babbo's... My favorite NY restaurant and it was amazing. (it took 4 months to get in) The we did MOMA... you should have seen the Monet... I'll post the pictures on flicker... (Starry Night was there too.)

Next day Bagels... NY City bagels... nothing else like them...mmmm

Then a Broadway show... Legally Blonde... Cute very cute. My friend Lisa and her husband surprised me on Times Square in the Hotel Marque. The dinner in Soho at this brand new hot spot. The served Spanish food that was very close to the real thing... since we just got back from Barcelona 4 weeks ago....(that's another blog...)

Then Sunday morning breakfast in Central Park in the restaurant Taverns on the green.... We rode in the park for two hours in a cart while the rider told us every amazing detail about the Park and the people who lived around the park and the amazing buildings... I could go on for days but you get the gist...

The only down fall is that I lost my cell phone in the cab to the airport... Oh well.

Thanks for the numbers and hop to see you amazing week... being unselfish and donating your time energy and emotions to a VERY good cause....

Miss you and sorry so long no write.

XOXO
