Lori Hi,
It's me barely hanging in there... Things have been stressful, but nothing I cannot handle...ha! There are days I ask myself...WHY? Then I wake up and say it's all worth it... right?

The kids have more homework than I can ever remember having in a life time... What's up with that??? Do they teach in school anymore? My son (the middle child) was not born with natural school talent or any organizational skills to complete the tasks or has any drive to do them either...What do I do? We tried tutoring and they say he is fine but he is failing classes for missing assignments and bad test scores. I'm at the end of my rope. His teacher says to try a private tutor to help him get organized better... Can you believe the cost in that... To help him organize... I cannot do it and Joe cannot do it because he tunes us out. I'm tired of the broken record... ME!!! I sound like the parent I promised I was not going to be...uuugh! Thank GOD I have him... To lean on... I pray daily. Even in mid sentence. Just venting... Thanks for listening

Lori

I really hate to post bad news.... I need your prayers...Please!
Joe's Dad has been diagnosed with cancer.

Whitey (that's what we all call him) has been feeling under the weather lately and they thought it might be either corotids or possibly an aortic aneurysm but when they got the MRI results they found out he had Multiple cysts on both his kidney's. Whitey had one of his kidney's cysts biopsed and the result was malignant Renal Cancer. He has many doctors appointments to see what his next step is. Mary (His wife that he married after Joe's Mom passed away from Lymphoma) is not a well woman. Her doctor told her last year alone her medical bills paid out over 1,000,000's. She is very dependent on him and is so scared... "Now who is going to fill up the car with gas".... I really fell for him and since he has taken care of two very sick women... Who is going to take care of him. Mike, Joe's oldest brother lives in Chicago is doing most of the leg work...
This is really hard on Joe since he was still in medical school when his Mom became very ill, and he spent a lot of time with her before her death. He really wants to be there for him but he has a family and a very busy practice... I know when the time is right he will fly out to be there for him hopefully something can be done.

Thank you for all your prayers on this for everyone involved.
