This was our real Anniversary trip to Napa California. 15 years ago Sept. 28-Nov 4th. we went to San Fransisco , Napa, Sonoma and Mendocino California for our honeymoon. My longest childhood friend from Long Island NY came out to San Fransisco for a convention for her husband and asked is to join them in this amazing trip... We had such a blast. The weather, food, wine and company was a real treat. It's so nice to have friends you can travel with and both you and your husbands get along... you know what I mean.... there's always that rift... Lisa and I have know each other for 38 of our 40 years... she is the closest thing to a sister that I have. through thick and thin we have been there for each other... most recently she was diagnosed with RA (rheumatoid arthritis) very painful and she is on lots of medications... as you know it changes your life... But with faith and spirit it will not get her down... (sound familiar) you both teach me a lot about life... I'm lucky to have you both as sisters!!!!

Miss you,

xoxo

Our newest saturday highlights... The Spartans!!! Dominic started playing football this year and loves it. It can be hard to watch with your son slamming and being slammed into by other 11-13 year olds but they seem well protected by all the pads... well you try to convince yourself that anyway...

Happy Labor day!!!
We took the kids to Coronado, California for a week at Labor day.
The kids did not get a vacation due to us going to Europe and this was their summer vacation. Lexi was not in the beach picture with the family due to the fact she invited a friend from Chicago to join us on vacation. Every summer they stay one week in each other's home and that did not happen this summer vacation because Lexi volunteered at the Boy's and Girls club this summer and she did not want to miss. She went for spring vacation while we went to Washington DC. Allie had basketball camp... and various other commitments that kept her from coming so this worked out perfectly. Allie is Tom and Susan's 13 year old. Joe's best freind from School. They girls are very close due to the fact they are 6 weeks apart.
Note: in pitcher two.... Lexi on the right (white as a ghost, lives in Arizona. Allie golden tan, lives in Chicago, IL) funny...
We Love Coronado and usually go every year for the fourth of July... but we were leaving the next week... we choose to go the last week in August... Thank God too.... We had an even hotter year that usual. It was a nice break from the 110 degrees...
I know it's October but I just down loaded these on my new computer and I thought I'd share...
Hope all is well, and thinking of you... Next post is my 15th anniversary last wed.(we went to Vegas for one day.... long story...
XOXO
